Daily clean

Clean each of your lenses with a daily cleaner and rinse with a sterile saline solution before placing them in the appropriate basket of the lens holder.

Disinfect

Disinfect with Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution. Fill the Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer Cup to the fill line with solution.

Neutralize

Neutralize with Oxysept® Neutralizing Tablets. Place one neutralizing tablet into the solution before inserting the lens holder and tightening the lid. Invert the Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer Cup 3 consecutive times to wet the upper surface of the cup and the inside of the cap to ensure full neutralization. The Oxysept® Neutralizing Tablet will color the solution pink reminding you that you have added the neutralizing tablet at the beginning of the six (6) hour soak.

Soak

Soak your contact lenses for a minimum of six (6) hours from the time you dropped the neutralizing tablet into the Oxysept® Cup. Your disinfected contact lenses are now ready to wear.

Once a week, remove protein buildup

Add one Ultrazyme® Enzymatic Cleaner Tablet at the same time you add the Oxysept® Neutralizing Tablet to the disinfecting solution. Remove lenses and rub and rinse with a sterile saline solution prior to wearing your lenses.

• Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer is a sterile solution that contains micro-filtered hydrogen peroxide 3% (stabilized with sodium stannate and sodium nitrate, and buffered with phosphates) and purified water.
• Oxysept® Neutralizing Tablets are smooth, round, pink to grayish purple tablets that contain catalase, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) as color indicator, with buffering and tableting agents.
• Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer Cup is a specially designed lens cup that must be used with this system. It consists of a single cup and a lens holder attached to the cap. The cap and left lens basket are blue. This will distinguish this cup from other lens cases.

Precautions

• Wash your hands with soap and water and dry with a lint-free towel before handling your lenses.
• Always clean, disinfect and neutralize your lenses each time they are removed.
• If the blister card appears damaged in any way, DO NOT USE any tablet from that card. Use a tablet from another card to neutralize the peroxide.
• Use only Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer components; do not substitute.
• Never reuse solutions.
• Do not use tablets that appear to be broken or chipped.
• Always ensure that the tablet has fully dissolved and that bubbling has stopped before putting your lenses into your eyes. If the tablet has not dissolved fully, repeat the disinfection and neutralization stages.
• Do not take tablets internally.
• After reapplying your lenses, always empty the Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer Cup, rinse with sterile saline solution and allow to air dry.
• Store solutions and tablets at room temperature.
• Use before the expiration date marked on the bottle, blister card and cartons.
• Never use Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer in a heat disinfection unit as the solution and tablets in this product are not designed for use with heatdisinfection.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to any ingredient in Oxysept® Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer, do not use this system.
