Product information per respective product insert. Viscosity measurements vary per methods reported in respective product package insert.

- High viscosity for increased anterior chamber expansion and maintenance
- Highest molecular weight of any ophthalmic viscoelastic device on the market1,2
- Expands anterior chamber and flattens anterior capsule to facilitate capsulorrhexis
- Long molecular chain designed to facilitate removal
- Latex-free
- Cohesive

Produced considerably less mean endothelial cell loss than VISCOAT® OVD and Ocucoat® OVD

Intended use statement
Healon®, Healon GV®, and Healon5® OVDs are used in ophthalmic surgical procedures to maintain deep anterior chamber, which facilitates manipulation inside the eye with reduced trauma to the corneal endothelium and other ocular tissues. HealonD® OVD is indicated for use as a surgical aid in the following ophthalmic surgical procedures: cataract surgery with an intraocular lens, cataract surgery without an intraocular lens, secondary intraocular lens implantation, corneal transplant surgery, and glaucoma filtration surgery. Warnings/Precautions/Contraindications: There are no known contraindications to the use of Healon®, Healon GV®, Healon5®, and HealonD® ophthalmic viscoelastic devices when used as recommended. Please refer to package inserts for full prescribing information. Rx only.
