Clear — Healon D® OVD
- Complete clarity in surgical field
- Highly protective of endothelial cells1
Control — Healon GV® OVD
- Exceptional control and ease of removal
- Highest molecular weight cohesive available in OVDs2
Healon® D+GV Ophthalmic Viscosurgical System combines a clear dispersive with the highest molecular weight cohesive for the first time in a combination pack. By bringing together these premium OVDs, Healon® OVDs offer the space maintenance, control, endothelial cell protection, and flexibility you need to improve patient outcomes during cataract surgery.
Healon D® OVD protects corneal endothelial cells, while Healon GV® OVD deepens the anterior chamber and flattens the anterior capsule.
Healon D® Dispersive OVD delivers clear protection
- Provides exceptional clarity in the surgical field
- Low molecular weight assures outstanding retention
- Provides optimum protection of endothelial cells throughout the entire surgical process1
- Ideal for lubrication of IOL insertion systems
Healon GV® Cohesive OVD provides exceptional Control
- High viscosity for increased anterior chamber expansion and maintenance
- Highest molecular weight of any ophthalmic viscosurgical devise on the market2
- Expands anterior chamber and flattens anterior capsule to facilitate capsulorhexis
- Long molecular chain designed to facilitate removal
